7 salad dressings that are incredible (and easy)
The months of the holidays are approaching, with the children out of school, the finished classes and the bikini operation in the middle of the process what it causes is to take gazpacho and make many recipes of salads and what is boring is that they are always the same .
It's no secret to anyone that the key to a good salad is in the dressing. I always make them with yogurt or the classic oil/balsamic vinegar. But it's over, I want more options. That's why I've prepared these recipes for salad dressings that work wonderfully at any time.
Salad dressing recipes
Honey and lemon dressing
- 2 tablespoons of lemon juice
- 1/2 tablespoon of minced lemon peel
- 1/4 cup of extra virgin olive oil
- 2 tablespoons of vinegar
- 1/2 teaspoon oregano
- 1/2 teaspoon honey
- A pinch of salt
- A pinch of black pepper
Mix all the ingredients. I always add the salt and pepper at the end to be able to taste how the mixture is left.
By the way, although the amount seems small, it is enough to at least season 4 portions. Honey is too sweet do not be fooled!
Coconut, coriander and lemon dressing
- 1/2 cup of washed coriander leaves
- 3 tablespoons of juice of lemon
- 1 tablespoon of balsamic vinegar
- 1 cup of coconut milk or 1 coconut yogurt
- 1 tablespoon of Stevia
- 2 tablespoons of olive oil
- Salt to taste
A bit exotic but it made me try it. To make this dressing, all the ingredients must be liquefied and mixed until a homogeneous green cream is obtained. Add the salt. If you feel that it has become too strong, add more coconut milk to soften it.
I did not have coconut milk, so I used coconut yogurt and added a little water until I got the perfect consistency.
Dressing of cilantro and yogurt
If the coconut, is too exotic for your taste, then you can make it easier even preparing this dressing:
- ¾ cup leaves coriander washed
- 4 tablespoons greek yogurt
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1 tablespoon lemon juice
- Honey bee, optional
- Salt and pepper, to taste
Blend or place in the processor coriander, Greek yogurt, olive oil, lemon juice and season with salt and pepper. taste. Once mixed add a splash of honey to the taste.
Yogurt and Peppermint Dressing
- 8 tablespoons of Greek or natural yogurt
- 1 small onion or 1/2 onion large
- 1 green pepper (or paprika)
- Leafy peppermint
- Salt, pepper to taste
Mix all The ingredients in the blender or food processor for short periods of time, the idea is that the onion does not fall apart completely. The mint leaves are added little by little, until getting the exact point, I used 6 leaves.
Let it marinate for a few hours. If it is too thick they can add a little water.Blend for a few seconds and add the lemon juice to taste. Try how they are left to taste to not overdo the mixture.
If you want can add salt and pepper, I did not because I did not think necessary. Unlike other salad dressings, this should be used sparingly if they are in the diet plan. You can also use it as a dip or to spread it on bread because it is very thick.
Mustard dressing, oregano and egg yolk
- One egg yolk
- Olive oil
- Oregano
- Salt
- Pepper
- Mustard
- 1 tablespoon of yogurt
The yolk is crushed with a fork and mixed with salt, pepper and oregano; then the yogurt is added. For each serving add a spoonful of olive oil and mustard to taste. Beat until you get the right texture.
